Final Homestand Update
The Cubs open their final regular season homestand at Wrigley tomorrow with CC Sabathia going up aganist Ryan Dempster. Demp has been murder at Wrigley, going 12-3 with a .290 ERA so far in 2008. With Milwaukee wilting and their clubhouse now in disarray with the firing of manager Ned Yost, you have to like the Cubs chances of reducing their Magic Number dramatically this week.
