Zambra-No-No

Carlos Zambrano became the first major leaguer whose last name begins with a Z to throw a no-hitter. He also is the first to throw a no-hitter in a rival’s ballpark where neither team were the home team.

I was 7 years old in 1972 when both Burt Hooten (in April ‘72) and Milt Pappas (Sept. ‘72) threw no-hitters.  I thought that happened all the time in baseball. Now 36 years later…add Big Z to the list!

I have a feeling things will start coming together again for this Cubs team.  October here we come!
