  • March 4:  Cubs beginning Spring Training game schedule vs Oakland A’s
  • March 12 & 13: Cubs vs White Sox split squad game at Cashman Field, Las Vegas NV
  • April 4: Active player roster reduced to 25 players
  • Monday April 5: Season opener Cubs vs Braves in Atlanta
  • Monday April 12: Cubs home opener at Wrigley Field vs Brewers
  • July 7: Wrigley Concert Series – featuring Elton John & Billy Joel
  • July 13: MLB All Star Game in Anaheim, CA
  • July 25: Hall of Fame Induction Ceremonies, Cooperstown, NY
  • July 31: Non-waiver trade deadline
  • Aug 31: Postseason eligibility rosters set
  • Sept 1: Active rosters expand to 40 players
  • Sept 17 & 18: Wrigley Concert Series continues (rumored acts to be Dave Matthews Band, Paul McCartney and/or Phish)
  • Sunday Oct 3: Cubs final regular season game for 2010 – in Houston, vs Astros
