With the Cubs on the road coming out of the All Star break, Cubs management are continuing the Wrigley Field concert series. Within the next week, the Friendly Confines will host concerts by Billy Joel with Elton John on July 16 and 21, and Rascal Flatts with Vince Gill and Darius Rucker on July 18th. [...]

It seems the folks that like their entertainment in Wrigleyville haven’t picked up a paper lately. When the first date for the Billy Joel & Elton John “Face 2 Face” tour stop at Wrigley went on sale, the concert sold out so quick, Live Nation seemed to scramble to add another date.
